Well we are now into 2012 and it looks like it may just be a good year. Having been looking back on life with my close family recently one member brought to light just how much of a benefit having the dogs have been. It is true...they have saved my life! So i decided that my next research project would be dogs and the disabled. I have been writing an article on the benefits of owning a pet and having a disability at the same time. Or several disabilities. Someone asked me recently how i cope with the dogs on a day to day basis when i really couldnt cope with anything else, but when i thought about it, i dont cope, it is the dogs who cope for me. They make bad illnesses and severe pain that little bit more bearable. So i wont bore you any longer in self pity and poor me! Ha Ha - my article will be availabe shortly and perhaps there may be other people out there who are in a similar position to me and they might just find that the love of a dog or few could make life just that little bit better for them.

One or two people have also commented on the change in my website - some pages have disappeared but select ones will be back with a different base. I decided that my website was originally started because of me not being able to work and it was an on going project that i could work with and pass the time of day on, so i there fore decided also that my website should portray our day to day life. What we do as a family and how we see this beautiful breed.
